romwe review: striped tee / burgundy sweater / plaid skirt / barbapapa top


hello everyone :) this is a long overdue review for romwe! the items i got are linked above and below. i am sponsored by romwe (e.g. i receive items for free in exchange for review), but that will not change my honest opinion. romwe is an online store based in china - they are wholesale and provide worldwide shipping and affordable fashion options for everyone!! i often see complaints about how people didn't get something worth $200 after spending $20, which i think is silly. you don't expect caviar on a street vendor hot dog. there are many hits, but also some misses. do your research and make sure to measure properly before purchasing :D

your standard comfy striped long sleeve tee tbh! good quality and worth for the price. it's very easy to coordinate with it, haha. the shirt fit me well, loose but not overly so. the shoulders were not too tight, nor were the sleeves too short. ^^ overall a success!






loose knit burgundy sweater

i've been eyeing this sweater for...a while i'd say at least. finally got it, and it really is a nice sweater that rests in romwe's bestsellers for a reason. i'm a sucker for cute knits, and this particular shade of red is always nice to mix and match with. only downside is that the sleeve are actually quite short, so i have to adjust whenever wearing jackets over. overall tho, very nice, soft and comfy, and sizing is alright.

cute and simple grid skirt! good for monochrome coords, or as a grounding darker piece. quality was good and i also do think the price is reasonable as well. material felt nice. only thing is that there was a little bit of excess thread along the hem, which i snipped.

barbapapa is so cute! i have barbapapa socks and saw this tee and couldn't help but snag it hehe. also the eye emoji is one of my favorites to use, so it was a no brainer for me. it's a really nice top, but the only thing is that the sleeves are slit along the sides so they flap around LOL. stylish, i guess, seriously inconvenient.
