and you?
spring break and subsequent HAULS
Spring break is over >__<, but it was a lot of fun! Last Wednesday, I went on a trip with one of my friends to NYC. We felt very adult, as we went without any supervision :^)
Our first stop was the bus, and then we went to Madame Tussauds, the wax museum. TBH neither of us were super into any celebrities, but it was still pretty fun!
Ernest Hemingway
Judy Garland as Dorothy Gale
Me and MJ face swap!!!!
I had so many more, but not the foresight to save them all! They were all #true gems on my snapstory, #too good to last in this world. I have another one with Hilary Clinton but I don't think I should post it LOL. The staff took a couple pictures, and my favorite was the one where they told us to "be scared of King Kong." I took a picture of the picture because we didn't want to buy it LOL.
my face was #2 great not to share
We had lunch at a Mediterranean & Mexican fusion place! I forgot the name, but it was tasty! We also got bubble tea at Gong Cha, which I am absolutely heartbroken to find does not exist in my state ;____________; I got hot milk tea, which was Amazing.
Now onto the Haul!!! We went to a bunch of stores & I bought way too much!!!!
f21
2 necklaces
2 headbands
1 pair of socks
The necklaces are because I'm expanding my minimal jewelry collection. The socks were for photo purposes, but I shouldn't have bought them. I just did a huge Mixxmix haul and could've bought them for cheaper or around the same price & then get review credits back!!!!
The headbands were another part of my devious plan to walk around and cover my hair when it's nasty!!! I do it very often already with my ever-growing pile of baseball caps. Hopefully I'll make a post soon about my hats & hairbands n__n.
h&m
This sweater ended up only being $8, because it was $10 on sale and then there was a text your email to this number for 20% off one item! I need more oversized sweaters because I'll be going off to college next year... and I won't have access to my dad's closet.
MUJI
24 set of colored pen markers
aluminum ruler
small notebook
gel ink ballpoint pen 0.38 mm in light green, light blue, and orange
I'm quite a Muji hoe, so this wasn't very surprising. I went to the Fifth Avenue Muji store and it was huge!!! The atmosphere was extremely calming, with the air fresheners, soft music, and perfectly molded to your shape beanbags that cost $190 LOL. I'll be doing a stationery breakdown of what I use regularly probably after AP exams ^_____^
April 1st is my sister's birthday, so we went to visit her at her school! She's actually never been pranked on it LOL because everyone else thought us (her family) pranked her, but we didn't understand the meaning of April Fool's Day....
While we were there, it was super rainy, so we ended up going to this butterfly emporium nearby! It was called Magic Wings and despite the silly name, it was pretty great! They also had a butterfly nursery where you could watch the butterflies come out of the cocoons. I only got to see one hatch, despite all of my waiting there OTL
That's all for this time! Sorry for all the messy/all over the place pictures, ahaha. Some dude tried recruiting me for military school and my mom was like *hand over throat* HANG UP WHO DIS!!?!!??!?! But military recruiters really are kind of creepy, and it was strange that they thought I would be interested LOLOL.

i enjoy music in general, the smell of old books, the smell of new books, cracking the spine of a new book open, hilarious things, things that make me cry from sheer emotion, sad fics and dramas, cheesy dramas, baggy sweaters, pretty pictures, having that moment of inspiration before writing a story and being satisfied with the outcome, sleeping, running on no sleep, ice cream cake for birthdays, putting up my christmas tree by myself, cool lemonade, rainy cold days, drizzles on your face, action movies, unlimited amounts of piping! hot noodles and dumplings and wontons, minimalistic furniture, laughing at friends who are shorter than me, having deep conversations with strangers, muted colors, going through color pallets at diy stores, choosing yarn and looking through projects, drinking bubble tea, going to froyo stores, that moment when I finally draw something the way I imagined it, baking tasty sweets, cute stuffed plush toys, the smell of the ocean, fruit, good wuxia drams, some anime, the feeling of collapsing on the mattress after a long day, baggy sweaters, ice cream cake for birthdays, the tranquility of night, pretty pictures, cute cellphone charms, the tranquility of night, funny japanese emoticons, when everything is organized, when everything is disorganized, when my clothes match and don’t make me look like an overgrown middle schooler, when I actually don’t expect a plot twist, when I can’t predict what will happen next, overgrown kittens, energetic puppies, and being able to choose when to laugh.
