burger pants
I suddenly got a burst of motivation, so I'm gonna do this review as fast as I can!!!! I also have a month overdue review for shein/romwe but clothes pics..... FML I feel terrible; a;sdfjakslf they'll be up as soon as I can muster the energy - aka probably sometime before next week hopefully! I'm watching jacksepticeye play Undertale in the background of this. It's surprisingly addicting lol.... Good thing I'll never buy the game :^)!! Anyway, since I haven't made a post in a while, I haven't shared the terrible reality that I've been watching a lot of gaming videos lately... The most hardcore I've ever gone on a game was Neopets aite... my parents never bought me a DS or anything because I messed up my eyes back in kindergarten playing educational Disney games LOL...
I took some very pretty pictures of this box, so I feel obligated to share them LOL.
The Tonymoly banana hand milk samples I got from beautynetkorea after buying a liptone tint! (You can see it in the third pic hehe, but it didn't really match the color scheme;; It's 06 Dark Night, but I absolutely LOVE the packaging adlkfjweioafsdkl! Reminds me of the Pantone color swatches. Speaking of which, I should use paint samples for something in OM!) The pink heart socks are from Mixxmix, and the skirt is from Beautiful Halo. (Honestly, they sketch af.... I've stopped promoting for them but I had some leftover credit so !!)
Now onto the inside of the box!!!! I love the box design except the bright pink color....
Like Japan Crate, Doki Doki also has their own little magazine book. It's much shorter, but just as cute and artsy.

Artist Series Stickers
They're adorable and pretty HQ! I'll hopefully be using cute notebooks and planners more so :~) Ample opportunity NOT to hoard these forever in a drawer.....
Geisha Pens
x2 cute pens! The points are 0.38 mm, but they write only in black ink :~( I like how they compliment each other, though! Most likely will be giving these away because I have basically the perfect pencil case atm, but these are so cute!
Kawaii Notebook
I'm gonna be real here and say... this looks like something you could buy for less than 5 yuan in China.... I'm not sure if this item is licensed or not, but it's kind of "meh" for me. I like the frog design though, and this'll probably be gifted as well.
Donut Squishy
This smelled terrible when I took it out of the packaging. I think it's absolutely adorable, though I wish it wasn't bright neon yellow ><
Cat Paw Cookie Squishy
Same with the donut, this squishy smelled like my nightmares. Even though this one was yellow too, I liked how it was more of a muted color and the pink color of the pads ^___^ Probably will add this to my backpack.
Space Food Picks
I feel like I'll never use these in my life, but they're adorable and possibly my favorite item in this box! I'm huge sucker for the space theme, and these are no exception.
Kawaii Sauce Containers
I like these a lot, but I don't really bring cooked food anywhere much, and they're so small that I'm not sure these will be too useful. Still, the little animals (bunny + frog + duck) are teeth-rottingly sweet. The left contraption is a funnel, so you can actually pour sauces into the little containers.
Bento Box Food Cups
???? Basically these separate your food in bento boxes. They look like cupcake holders to me, so maybe that'll be their ultimate purpose. I like how they gave us some bento boxes along with these though.
Re-ment blind box items
Curry: Cute, but I'm very unsure of what I'm supposed to do with it LOL. I should start collecting mini food because they're all so satisfyingly tiny yet detailed.
Onigiri: I was kind of disappointed tbh? I got the tea rice and white rice version, but I would've preferred only getting one item that was more "snazzy". There's a keychain for this.. but I'm also very unsure of what to do with it. It's detailed and came in good condition.
Bento Boxes
These were one of my favorite items! All three patterns are A++ and I probably will find some sort of use for them (albeit maybe not as a bento box, but rather a gift box). I like the simple and easy to follow directions diagram! I didn't take it out of the packaging because sometimes y'know, you want to preserve the perfection of store bought items for a bit, ahaha.
Okay, so I have heard that the Doki Doki crate has sent out knock-offs in their first three boxes (Dec-Feb). I was kind of wary about that but they had asked me about getting a reviewed box before I knew about this. The JC staff offered refunds for them, but I still found the entire experience a little sketchy. I think they're definitely working towards a more reliable "kawaii" crate, because their snack subscription is pretty well known.
Overall, this box was adorable and chock-full of cuteness, but I question whether it is really worth $30... They often have coupons that reduce to price to $25, which is slightly better. However, I'm not particularly knowledgable on these sort of items. I really liked the space food picks, stickers, and bento boxes though ^____^ They're going to add more name brand and value items though, so the next few months should be :=).
Hope you guys enjoyed this review, and make the decision for yourselves whether Doki Doki Crate is worth it! I would personally choose a month where they release spoilers and drop a theme that personally appeals to you the most. (Honestly, I wish I got the Dec Totoro box, even if some were knockoff items).
