skoshbox
Hi everyone! I'm back with a review for the lovely Skoshbox :)
I received a big cardboard box from Skoshbox!! Inside there was the Skoshbox (smaller box full of sample sized snacks, starts at $10 a month!) and the Dekabox (full sized snacks (~one pound of snacks in each box) starts at $20/month!), as well as miscellaneous other snacks and tissue paper for padding to ensure the snacks didn't get squashed. Although there are a lot of Japanese snack subscription boxes out there today, a lot of them are ~$25-30+ and not everyone has the extra cash for it. Skoshbox is a great way to start off and see if you enjoy/want to continue :)

(Top is what was inside Skoshbox; bottom is what was inside Dekabox)
SKOSHBOX ONLY:
Very aesthetic but too disgustingly sweet for my taste buds unfortunately;;
These candies were so good ;u; They fizzle away pretty quickly into a huge sugary mess huehue. They kind of look like pills in a strange shaped pill bottle, but they taste a lot better than any sort of medicine! One of my favorites in this box - I was so sad when I finished the candy.
Good, but nothing super special? Tasted like any standard wafer imo.
This tasted a lot like delicious taffy! I usually dislike grape flavored candy, but this is the second one I've had that is *ok fingers emoji* A+!
This was unfortunately all crumbled by the time I opened it. It's not the fault of the Skoshbox team, because I put it in my backpack and it got crushed :-( yum yum!

SKOSHBOX/DEKABOX shared snacks!
Standard chocolate in my opinion; nothing really too special. They were slightly crunchy on the outside and crumbly inside ^-^
Good, they didn't have an especially strong flavor and the texture/shape was slightly strange. Still good though! The less adventurous would probably prefer these.

DEKABOX ONLY
Interesting new snack with a strange texture and bizarre flavor! Not really to my liking, but it was cool trying out some squid balls LOL. My parents did like it though, so it didn't go to waste!
Super adorable ^^ Unfortunately, it wasn't as tasty as it was adorable, but it's pretty standard imo.
Kitkats never disappoint..... since I, as an American, am very used to the milk chocolate variety, tasting this cheesecake version was such an eye opener!! (or mouth opener??) It didn't really taste like cheesecake, but I loved it anyway :) They recommended to bake it, and since they gave me two kitkats, I did that for the second... ACTUALLY AMAZING AND INCREDIBLE
There's supposed to be two sweet gumballs and one sour gumballs but maybe my taste buds were?? faulty??? These all tasted sweet to me, probably because I'd been eating the Suppa-Sugiru Umeboshi (SUPER SOUR) candies. The gum lost flavor very quickly, but the initial flavor was very nice, and the gum was nice and chewy for a while.
Ahhh these were so sour omg, but I couldn't stop eating them!! My mouth was crying and my tongue was bleeding but these were so good ahh. It'd probably be better to eat a few over a period of time and not very quickly like I did haha.
At first, I was slightly disappointed as this is a "grown ups" snack. However, I realized after the first few that these were !!!!!!!!!!! Very tasty, subtly chocolately deliciousness, and the crunch of the the peanuts inside was so satisfying.
I was wary at first, looking at the "cotton candy" flavor. I'm used to the strawberry flavor of these koala crackers that my mom gets at Asian Food Markets. SO GOOD THOUGH!!!!! SO GOOD!!!! I was trying not to stuff these into my mouth too quickly and save some for friends haha.

EXTRAS IN CARDBOARD BOX!!!
Okay... I thought these were cat paw gummies... but my friend K pointed out that... there are dogs on the packaging... I am very disappointed in myself. I have to say that in general, Japanese gummy candies really are on point! These were apple flavored, and smelled sooooo good. Perfectly squishy, chewy, and delightful apple taste - ughhh - I don't think I'll ever taste another gummy as good as this one.
Yum, yum! Puffy savory corn snack :)
Interesting and basically was a potato chip... fry thing! Not extremely strong, but it left a nasty aftertaste in my mouth that I tried to wash out by eating more haha.

Thank you for reading!! & big thanks to the Skoshbox team for this :) Although I did receive a free box to review, I am not being paid/compensated to write good things about it! I hope you find that you like what you see, and that you'll try out Skoshbox. I think the candies are very good for a cheaper budget haha.
